For the Mountain Communities

Mountain Homeless Coalition endeavors to reach, inform, serve and house our neighbors experiencing homelessness, and to educate mountain residents about the needs of the homeless.

Hearts and Lives addresses the needs of residents in the Rim Mountain Communities through case management, education, direct services and referrals; collaborating with government and non-profit community resource providers.

LSS/Community Care Centers have locations throughout Southern California and serve the public through a variety of programs (including Wraparound, Therapeutic Behavioral Services, and emergency assistance services).

Family Services Agency of Crestline provides counseling and mental health services to adults on the mountain

MCT 100

Getting to know MCT for prospective volunteers, staff, board members, and community members.

“MCT 100” is a free introductory event conducted quarterly. We present a 120-minute introduction to our “why”, where we’re headed, and how you can play a supportive or starring role. Independent community leaders will likely find big ideas to propel their contributions. There is also a video version of MCT 100 for those who can’t wait for the live event (but you should absolutely do both!)

For Those Passionate About Abolition

The Not For Sale Campaign is on the cutting edge of raising awareness and fighting modern slavery.  MCT is currently developing a four-week, 12 hour, awareness experience based largely on their work.

International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that rescues and supports victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to secure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators, and to ensure that public justice systems — police, courts, and laws — effectively protect the poor and vulnerable.

Darkness to Light is a non-profit focused on ending child sexual abuse and human trafficking. Lots of great resources, including enlightening videos.
